4th Graders Visit the Library

Fourth grade students recently visited the Bluebonnet Branch of the East Baton Rouge Parish Library.  The children's librarian gave them a tour of the library, told some stories, and explained how the public library works.  They learned how to get a library card, how to utilize the computers available in the kid's section of the library and even had time to make a Christmas tree for the library's Christmas Tree Wall.

In addition to learning about the library, the students also were able to go into the LA Science Museum's Discovery Dome which was visiting the library that day.  They saw "Star of Bethlehem", which is a planetarium-like show about how ancient travelers used stars to navigate.
